Stock exchange releases Restamax Plc: CHANGES TO RESTAMAX’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND EXECUTIVE TEAM Restamax Plc STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 1 JUNE 2018 at 13:30 CHANGES TO RESTAMAX'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND EXECUTIVE TEAM The Board of Directors of Restamax Plc ("Restamax") has appointed Aku Vikström (b. 1972) as Restamax CEO and Chairman of the Executive Team starting from 1 June 2018. Vikström will be responsible in Finland for the company's operations result and development. Vikström previously served as the CEO of Royal Ravintolat Ltd ("Royal Ravintolat"). "Vikström brings significant knowledge capital to the company - he has more than twenty years' diverse experience with management sales and marketing in the restaurant and food industry and a great passion for the restaurant industry. Vikström will further reinforce Restamax's market position in Finland and advance the experiences offered by Finnish restaurant culture " says Chairman of the Board of Directors Timo Laine. "I am eager to accept my new duties and looking forward to meeting our personnel. We will invest in the recipe for success shared by both companies - entrepreneurial business culture - and continue working on even more excellent customer service and our efficient operating model. The work to revise the company name has begun and we will tell more about it after the summer " says Vikström. Restamax CEO Juha Helminen M.Sc.(Tech.) b. 1977 will take charge of the company's international operations starting from 1 June 2018. Helminen was appointed as the Deputy CEO of Restamax starting from 1 June 2018. Helminen started as Restamax CEO and member of the Executive Team on 1 September 2017. "Restamax aims to become the leading restaurant operator in Northern Europe in 3-5 years which is supported by our corporate acquisition in Denmark as well as our joining of forces with Royal Ravintolat. Helminen has had a long international career in brewery and restaurant industry business and sales management which makes him a natural choice to lead our international operations " says Laine. "This spring we expanded our operations to Denmark. Through these changes to responsibilities we can now focus in a very different way on implementing our growth strategy abroad where we have a market of EUR 100 billion in Northern Europe alone " says Helminen. Changes to the Board of Directors On 31 May 2018 Restamax's Extraordinary General Meeting decided to supplement the company's Board of Directors with Saku Tuominen Tomi Terho and Mikko Kuusi who are current members of the Board of Directors of Royal Restaurants.
